LEICESTER ace Pawel Przedpelski is hoping to make a rapid return from the broken leg suffered on his debut last week.
The Polish hotshot crashed heavily against Swindon at Beaumont Park but has undergone successful surgery on his injury.
He is now back home in Poland and hopes to make a return to the track in two or three weeks.
Meanwhile, club bosses have secured the services of Great Britain star Chris Harris to guest for the injured Kim Nilsson in Monday's clash with King's Lynn (7.30).
Co-promoter Marc Bates said: "We were all gutted to see Pawel's debut end as it did last week, but we're delighted to hear his surgery went well and we hope to see him back at Leicester very soon.
"We had awful luck last week with Kim (Nilsson) getting injured as well, but we're pleased to get Chris Harris in to take his place on Monday.
"We came so close with a four-man team last week, but hopefully we can get the job done on Monday against King's Lynn with a win."
